Practice Nurse

Practice nurses work in GP surgeries as part of a primary healthcare team. In larger practices, there may be several practice nurses sharing duties and responsibilities but in smaller ones, practice nurses work on their own, taking on many roles. They have many responsibilities and carry out many medical tasks, such as health screening, flu vaccinations, smear tests, family planning, asthma checks, and so on.
